life is like a clown
cos its always full of expressions.
Always full of surprises.
Cos we are afraid of reality.
That we chose to hide behind the makeup of simplicity.
Cos we are afraid of showing our feelings.
That we hide behind the simile
Sometimes, even if we are sad,
We are still obliged to make others laugh,
Tears swallowed hard.
Sometimes, the show is over in an instant.
Our efforts that took a forever.
Clowns don’t speak,
To prevent their words from being misunderstood.
Yet they are understood.
Portrayal on the stage,
Reality behind the curtains.
So much so, virtual or reality,
We aren’t really certain.
Ever wondered why this trade is still present?
Perhaps that the homo sapiens’ way of
Escapism……
