A generation’s dusk is another’s dawn.
Being able to witness the birth of another young potentials,
Being able to be part of the process of birth, growth,
Is a pride for me.
Seen them grow.
As young saplings, into trees.
Been through the endless nights,
That now, all seems to be gone like a wind.
Seen the tears of joy and sorrow,
Seen the smile which I savour in my memories.
Today I’ve ran my last,
As a CI and for NPCC.
God speed, those thoughts empower me.
Fuelled by emotions, pushed on by envisions.
Last as I turn to look at the mirror me,
Running through the familiar haunt,
Chanting the same old song.
Last have I done my duty,
To fulfil not my responsibility,
But my destiny.
The sun seems to hide in its slumber,
With rain daunting upon me.
The sky seems to be crying, yet shielding its tears from the earthings.
The mournful sonata plays it melancholy melody.
I felt the moment’s serenity.
Handshakes with my comrades and you seems to last for eternity.
Tears from my eyes seems to dry,
As the sky wiped its gloom off the scenery.
"silver crest upon our heads,
show that we are the best….."
As the familiar chant fades into eternity.
